Tennessee Governor Bill Lee came to visit the storm victims and witness the damage in McNairy County Saturday. “It’s heartbreaking to see what’s happened here, for sure,” Governor Lee said.

Nine people are dead in McNairy County after storms, including a tornadoes, swept the south Friday night, according to Allen Strickland, director of the McNairy's Emergendy Management Agency.

The tornado that tore through McNairy County in West Tennessee early this month caused an estimated $30.3 million in damage, according to the county's emergency management agency.
