June’s full moon, known as a “strawberry moon,” may appear reddish because of its low position on the Southern Horizon.

The beach may be the best place to view the strawberry moon, which will be at its lowest point in the sky since 2007.

The Strawberry Moon will also be the lowest full moon visible in the Northern Hemisphere since 2006, according to BGN. That’s due to the major lunar standstill, or lunistice, which happens once every 18.6 years, according to BBC Sky At Night Magazine.
