The Avengers game is your opportunity to actually play as some of the characters you know and love from the Marvel universe, and meet some friendly – and unfriendly – faces along the way.

The Max Hero Level Cap in Marvel’s Avengers is level 50. After this, you won’t be able to level up your heroes any further.

The player on the winning team who scores the most points will be crowned Marvel’s first “Champion” following the game. Every point, rebound, assist, steal or block wins one Marvel Hero Point.

Update 2.8, which is live now, is basically a free-for-all for Marvel's Avengers faithfuls who still plan on playing now that the game has essentially been relegated to maintenance-only status.

Both Hero’s Catalysts and Fragment Extractors have existed in Marvel’s Avengers since launch, but could only be obtained through play as an in-game reward.
