Paterson residents will celebrate the 96th birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday with a special ceremony at the city’s newly unveiled statue honoring the civil rights leader.

Every day for the last 20 years Stefan West could look out his front door and see the bronze statue of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. standing tall in all its glory.
