At its peak, the Little Blue River floodwater broke a record and rose to 13.28 feet. Water at Big Blue River went to nearly 20 feet. The mayor was grateful the damage wasn’t serious.

The Big Blue River is currently measuring 17.77 feet, nearing Major Flood Stage, which begins at 18.1 feet. The river is expected to crest at this level at approximately 2:00 a.m. Sunday.
