Fresh, brand-new cabins are now at Platte River and Mahoney State Parks. These are 4-bedroom units, giving you all the comforts of home. When you step inside, you forget you're on a camping trip!

Gulf State Park unveils Lakeside Cabins Each cabin accommodates up to 8 guests with one king bedroom, one queen bedroom, a room with twin bunk beds, and two bathrooms.

Mahoney State Park has three new cabins in addition to the existing Governor's Row cabins. There also are two new family mini lodge cabins at Platte River State Park.

The state had to bulldoze the 17 cabins that were heavily damaged by Hurricane Sally in 2020. Nine-million-dollars was spent to build back 20 brand new ones in their place at the Eagle Cottages site.
