A battalion chief from Kern County involved in the Canyon fire operations was seriously injured when his truck rolled over.

Evacuation warnings were lifted in Los Angeles County on Saturday morning for the Canyon Fire straddling the Los Angeles-Ventura County line.

A Kern County Fire Department firefighter suffered major injuries when their truck rolled nearly 200 feet down a steep hillside near the Canyon Fire on Friday night.
