The real-life adversity that faces the Aquinas High School softball team was accompanied by the first competition-related adversity of the season Thursday against Logan.

Logan, which has won or shared the conference championship 12 times in the 29-year history of the MVC, has gone through four straight losing seasons and has won a combined 10 games the last three.
