WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Tropical Storm Bret is now packing 60 mph winds as it continues moving west toward the Lesser Antilles, the National Hurricane Center said Wednesday.
The U.S. National Hurricane Center said Norma, once a Category 4 hurricane, made landfall as a Category 1 hurricane with winds of 80 mph near el Pozo de Cota, west-northwest of Cabo San Lucas.

Bret is expected to make its way across the Lesser Antilles Islands Thursday and move through the eastern and central Caribbean Sea on Friday and Saturday before weakening and dissipating.
