The recommendations were approved at a meeting of Leeds City Council’s executive board on April 23, moving the process of Elland Road expansion forward.

The Championship side, who will be returning to the Premier League in 2025-26, were given the green light by Leeds City Council to add nearly 20,000 seats to Elland Road.
