An unidentified man is dead and a McKenzie County Sheriff's Deputy has been placed on administrative leave following an officer involved shooting that took place Monday evening.

The family is suing the city, Mayor Eric Adams and 27-year-old off-duty NYPD Officer Hieu Tran — the officer charged in the shooting. Nia Clark has more on the report.
