Samsung and Perplexity are apparently close to a deal that would see various Perplexity services and technologies preloaded on Galaxy phones.

The company has been gaining traction as an alternative to traditional search engines and generative assistants, thanks to its accuracy and focus on real-time data.

Perplexity may become the default on Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 series. It’s rumored the two companies are nearing a partnership for many different tools.
