The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), reports that the fire incident occurred at the Presidential Committee for Flood Relief and Rehabilitation (PCFRR) IDPs hostel in Shailang, Shendam, on Feb. 16.

Councillor Hazel Harding, Lancashire County Council leader and chair of the LGA’s safer communities board, said the hostels were important but local residents needed to be kept informed.
