UPDATED: January 9, 2023 at 6:10 PM EST KINGSTON, N.Y. – Lawmakers have dropped one of three options for new election districts and now plan to take comments Thursday on the two remaining options.

About 1.4 miles of Centre Street from Jackson Square to the intersection of Centre and South St. will be closed to cars from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday for a city-sponsored "Open Streets" celebration.
