After a two-day temporary closure, the Grant Southside Center Pool will reopen on Friday, July 4, the City of Asheville announced Thursday.

Asheville will reopen its pool at the Grant Center in Southside on July 4, with modified hours and "enhanced safety measures," the city said July 3.

There are more than a dozen ways in Lancaster County to celebrate Independence Day with fireworks in 2025.

The pool at the Dr. Wesley Grant Sr. Southside Community Center is closed until further notice, the city said in a July 2 post.
