The appeal came days after a judge modified 19-year-old Alexee Trevizo’s bail conditions to let her attend New Mexico State University in person ahead of an October trial.

According to court documents, Trevizo went to the hospital at 11:47 a.m. Around 20 minutes later, she was given medications like Ketorolac, Ondansetron and Morphine.
