JULY 4: 4th Of July Spectacular. The day begins with a Lakeside Fun Run in the morning, a pet show by noon, and an afternoon splash party at the Calabasas Tennis & Swim Center.

According to estimates by the American Pyrotechnics Association (APA), the average July 4th in the U.S. will see about 14,000 public fireworks displays.

On July 5, the fireworks pre-show beginning at 6 p.m. features food trucks, parade trophies, music and vendors followed by fireworks at 9 p.m. or dusk at Audubon High School, 350 Edgewood Ave.
