Juice WRLD’s legacy continues to live on thanks to the beauty of carefully curated collaborations. Today (June 23), Cordae returns to drop off a brand new track “Doomsday” with the late rapper.
Juice WRLD, whose real name was Jarad Higgins, died on December 8, 2019, at age 21 after suffering a seizure. The cause was reportedly related to taking several Percocet pills to avoid arrest.
Separately, pop-punk band Yellowcard sued Juice Wrld for $15 million in 2019, prior to his passing, over his hit record "Lucid Dreams." Following his death, the lawsuit was passed over to his estate.
Juice WRLD’s Fighting Demons album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, selling 119,000 equivalent album units in its first week. “Girl of My Dreams” peaked at No. 29 on the Hot 100.
