Firefighters from Carbon and Schuylkill counties are battling a brush fire in the Jim Thorpe area.

We're following a house fire in a Carbon County community. It broke out just after 9:15 a.m. Wednesday in Jim Thorpe. Crews were called to the 500 block of Center Avenue.
