While Best Original Song performances are tradition and often a highlight of the show, it's not the first time the Oscars have excluded them. As NPR noted, the last time this happened was in 2012.

Below is the full list of Best Original Song nominations and their accompanying audio videos. The ceremony, hosted by Conan O’Brien, will take place March 2 at the Dolby Theatre.
