The Days of '47 Parade Float Preview Party showcased unique, pioneer-themed floats in Sandy. Highlights included a Mississippi river boat float and Archibald Gardner's story float.

An Independence Day parade in a Wisconsin town on Lake Michigan ended in controversy after a local VFW post float was asked to leave in the middle of the procession.

"It's been really exciting to have a float that we've… won so many events. The very first parade we did was Daffodil… and we won grand sweepstakes," she said.
