From herd wipeout to national honours: Tipp dairy family’s remarkable rebuild
In 1993, the Ryan family’s dairy herd at Maryland Farm, Lisheen, Moyne, Thurles was wiped out by brucellosis. Today, they milk 150 cows and produce an average of 523kg of milk solids per cow per year.
