FAIRFIELD – Jeffrey J. Michaud, 67. It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jeffrey J. Michaud. Jeff was born on Aug. 5, 1957, son of Randolph and Rose (Corbin) Michaud.

He was a popular radio personality in New England before becoming the co-owner of a 10-station radio broadcasting company in Maine that in May 1999 sold its assets to Citadel for millions of dollars.

Now, many are pausing to remember J.J. Jeffrey, who has died at the age of 84 after a brief illness. News of Jeffrey’s passing was shared by the Maine Association of Broadcasters.
