Many local residents know the history of the Old Crozet School, but when Albemarle County wanted to determine the future of the old building, more than 300 heads joined forces.

Four people — a mother and her three children, according to Facebook — were killed late Tuesday in the Stony Point area of Albemarle County in what police say was an apparent murder-suicide.
