The International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN) at Poynter was launched in 2015 to bring together the growing community of fact-checkers around the world.

The International Fact-Checking Network is a business unit of the Poynter Institute for Media Studies, a nonprofit journalism training institution. Poynter is registered as a 501(c)(3).
