Hyatt's comments entering his second NFL season sound a lot like his comments ahead of his breakout season at Tennessee in 2022. In 2021, Hyatt caught just 21 passes for 226 yards and two touchdowns.

After a quiet rookie and sophomore season, former Tennessee Volunteers wide receiver Jalin Hyatt may be primed for a breakout in 2025, and he’s got a veteran quarterback in his corner.

Tennessee had 12 three-touchdown receiving games before Hyatt’s heroics, and he now shares the SEC record set by Alabama star (and Heisman Trophy winner) DeVonta Smith against Ole Miss in 2019.

Hyatt equaled that total with five more touchdown catches on Saturday, cementing his place in school history with a performance for the ages as Tennessee (6-0) emphatically upset Alabama (6-1).
