“Erick” has formed over the E. Pacific well offshore of El Salvador & Guatemala. The storm is forecast to track northwest & become a hurricane before coming ashore just east of Acapulco Thursday on the SW coast of Mexico. Hawaii satellite imagery:

Tropical Storm Erick has formed in the Pacific and is expected to become a hurricane by Wednesday, according to the National Hurricane Center.
