Huntsville Hospital is a not-for-profit operation and its pursuit of needed equipment to brace for the COVID-19 patient surge has depleted the hospital's finances, Spillers said.

According to the Huntsville Hospital Health System (HHHS), the expansion of the Madison Street Tower is causing the hospital to move its ER entrance to Gallatin Street beginning Saturday, Jan. 11.
