Freshman sire Currency Swap had his first black-type stakes winner Nov. 11, when Richlyn Farms' Silver Bay led the way through the 6 1/2-furlong Juvenile Fillies Sprint Stakes at Gulfstream Park West.

Silver Deputy, one of North America's top veteran stallions, has been pensioned because of declining fertility, said Ric Waldman, who managed the bay horse's stud career, Sept. 5.
