On Holy Thursday, the Catholic Church celebrates a special Mass of the Lord’s Supper – that commemorates the institution of the Holy Eucharist at the Last Supper.

This church began as an initiative of the Association of the Friends of Saint Joseph, who wanted to dedicate it to the Holy Family of Nazareth.

Known as a crusader on behalf of the poor, Creedon served as pastor for several area parishes, including Holy Family Catholic Church in Dale City, where he was serving at the time of his death.
