This store and Hobby Lobby make up portions of the old Kmart, with a 11,424-square-foot retail space yet to be leased between them. Kmart closed this location in 2018.

Hobby Lobby signed a lease at 270 Greenwich Street in Tribeca. It will be the Christian chain’s second in the five boroughs — a Staten Island store opened in March — but first in Manhattan.

The Hobby Lobby store will be in the South Marketplace. The retailer eyes a 2024 opening. Hobby Lobby is an arts-and-crafts retailer that also offers picture framing, fabrics and other merchandise.
