A South Carolina artist says he made the “human skin teddy bear” found on the ground outside of a Victorville convenience store on Sunday. Despite the name, the bear is actually made out of latex.

An arrest has been made after what appeared to be a teddy bear wrapped in human flesh was left outside a Victorville, California convenience store, prompting a law enforcement investigation Sunday.

911 callers said 'a teddy bear made of what looked like human flesh' was left in front of the business. A coroner later found it was not human skin.
