Deputies and Hatley Fire Department personnel arrived to find smoke coming from a home. A 67-year-old woman at the scene informed responders that a 57-year-old female was still inside the home.

At 12:04 a.m. June 3, a caller reported a house fire with someone possibly trapped inside in the 200 block of Kirkwood St. in the Marathon County village of Hatley, about 20 miles southeast of Wausau.
