Consumers on social media are challenging themselves to stick to only the necessities in July and pull back on spending to save money.

Permits are available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at the treasurer's office inside City Hall, 101 S. George St., and 4 to 10 p.m. weekdays at the police department, 50 W. King St.
