Jeff Piorkowski/special to cleveland.com VALLEY VIEW, Ohio -- The Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter is offering, through Sunday (June 22), $20 adoption fees on all dogs four months and older.

ELYRIA, Ohio – The Lorain County Dog Kennel reached full capacity this week after taking in 15 dogs within 36 hours as adoption rates remain critically low.

From Monday, June 23 through Sunday, June 29, the group is running its Say Yes to the Pet promotion, slashing adoption fees by 50% for all animals as they’re running out of space at their facility.
