It's not a done deal, but Monday night the Wilson school district announced it is one step closer to closing two elementary schools.

Kathie Foley, the assistant principal at Green Valley Elementary School, was named the new principal at Mountain View Elementary. Foley replaces Leigh Smith, who is retiring.

While the reasons Green Valley is on the list seem the most sensationalistic, other places identified as being among the worst for retirement may have gotten the designation for more solid reasons.
