Glynn County residents are not allowed out between 6 p.m. and 7 a.m. as Georgia goes under a state of emergency.

Georgia Power says, between Brunswick and St. Simons Island, more than 10,000 power outages were reported among its customers in Glynn County, alone.

The Glynn County Board of Commissioners said on Friday it was assessing the amount of debris left behind by this week’s winter storm and will decide on the removal process once a cost estimate is generated.

Glynn County Public Works and the Glynn County Police Department are at multiple intersections with traffic lights that are down. Frederica Road was "impassable" north of Redfern Village due to fallen limbs and power lines across the road.

GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. — A curfew has been issued from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. in Glynn County. According to Glynn County Public Information Officer Lawton Dodd, the curfew is to discourage residents from driving and keep people off the streets.
