Yellow dished out $4.6M in bonuses to its top execs weeks before declaring bankruptcy. Over half of the sum was for retention bonuses as the company contemplated liquidating.
It expects to let go 437 employees at all seven of its Washington locations. Yellow operates out of Seattle, Tacoma, Everett, East Wenatchee, Union Gap, Pasco and Spokane.
