San Diego Harbor Police have confirmed that a private pleasure craft collided with the USS Midway Museum ship Friday afternoon, causing an estimated $100,000 in damage to the historic vessel.

The Midway's dignified retirement was recently interrupted when a 65-foot motor boat banged into the warship. According to the San Diego Harbor Police, the boat's pilot was intoxicated.
