SOUTH QUEENSFERRY, Scotland — Crossing Scotland’s iconic Forth Rail Bridge takes just two minutes. Painting the Victorian-era wonder takes forever. Or so the story goes.
The building of Scotland’s iconic Forth Rail Bridge has been brought back to life thanks to the creative talents of Queen Margaret University’s (QMU) award-winning filmmaker.
Transport Scotland was now looking for design consultants and a project director to get it moving. The current suspension bridge was opened on Sept 4, 1964, at an overall cost of 19.5 million pounds.
