Justice Lawrence Mugambi ruled that although the vetting process may continue, the government is restrained from gazettetting or swearing in the seven nominees.

The High Court allowed parliament to vet President William Ruto’s IEBC nominees but blocked their swearing-in and gazettement until a case is resolved.
