EVANSVILLE – Trinity United Methodist Church in Downtown Evansville hadn’t gotten water in its basement since the 1937 flood. In the last week, it’s happened twice.
FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) — First Baptist Church on St. Claire Street was back in their building on Tuesday, surveying damage and starting to clean up from last week's flooding.
Flooding closed several roads and did some major damage near a local church. Vine Street looks a lot different than it did during Tuesday night’s storm.
“That’s 100 percent correct,” said Dainius Virbickas, an engineer representing the proposed seven-story apartment house at First Congregational Church across the street from City Hall.
