Pima County Sheriff’s Department Badges & Backpacks is one of several annual back-to-school traditions that has become a low-touch, drive-thru event because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

On Saturday, from 4 to 8 p.m., it will host another back-to-school event, featuring free backpacks and school supplies and live DJ entertainment, at SNKR BOX, 5 N. Bank St., Easton.
