Medina Fire Chief Larry Walters is being honored by the state of Ohio for his heroic actions to save a woman trapped inside her burning home.

Among the firefighting crew was a woman—caked in soot, her head covered with a helmet and self-contained breathing apparatus—carrying a flat head axe and Halligan tool. Enz was stunned.
