ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A garbage truck caught fire and was extinguished at a city of Albuquerque yard. Albuquerque Fire Rescue responded to flames and smoke coming from the body of the vehicle.

No one was injured in the fire that was reported at about 5:30 p.m., but the truck and shed were a total loss. The building was engulfed in flames when firefighters from three towns arrived.
