India is advancing its defence capabilities with plans to develop an Indigenous 5.5-generation fighter jet, with the first prototype expected to be ready by 2028.

The new manufacturing site for the fighter jets will be part of Boeing’s $1.8 billion expansion project in north Saint Louis County.
