On Saturday night at the Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas, Jermall Charlo made a big impression with his much-anticipated comeback to the ring. Charlo reminded fans why he is still one of the most dangerous fighters in the division by defeating Thomas LaManna via TKO in the sixth round.

Jermall Charlo returned to the ring after an 18-month layoff for just his second fight in the past four years and looked incredibly sharp, knocking down Thomas "Cornflake" LaManna three times before forcing a stoppage in the fifth round Saturday night at Las Vegas' Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

On Saturday, Caleb Plant and Jermall Charlo will look to avoid the pitfalls faced by Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia with the intent to make a big showdown later this year. On May 2, Garcia was upset by Rolando Romero and Haney won a dreadful fight against Jose Carlos Ramirez.
