FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — 7 people were able to safely evacuate a burning home early Thursday morning. It started around 2:30 a.m. in the 4200 block of Bowser Ave., near McKinnie Ave.

According to a release from the Fort Wayne Police Department, just after 12 p.m. on June 26, officers responded to the 1000 block of Hamilton Avenue on a report of a person shot.
