FALL RIVER — A not-guilty plea was entered in the case of a Fall River police officer accused of breaking into a home while drunk to search for someone who did not live there.

Fall River police said they are investigating an apparent drive-by shooting. According to police, they responded to a report of a shooting at around 5:17 a.m. on Saturday.

Fall River police said they are facing multiple firearms-related charges, including carrying a firearm without licenses and possession of unregistered firearm.
