Police have identified Shontay Salenciaga, 45, as the person who crashed into the Embassy Suites with a car.

A driver is under arrest after ramming the Embassy Suites hotel while fleeing police who were investigating reports he was trying to hit pedestrians.

A witness who captured video of a driver striking the Embassy Suites in Des Moines said the driver was "accosting" a woman shortly before the crash.
